Hölker Verlag has published the cookbook to accompany the WDR program “Lecker an Bord” (Tasty on board). In their search for inspiration for delicious new dishes, the TV chefs Björn Freitag and Frank Buchholz regularly travel the waterways of North Rhine-Westphalia on a houseboat to visit the region’s most beautiful locations.
Like the TV series that it’s based on, “Lecker an Bord – eine kulinarische Reise durch NRW” (Tasty on board—a culinary journey through NRW) isn’t exclusively about the state’s cuisine. The high-quality photos of the dishes are complemented by information on, and sightseeing tips for, the highlights of the region.
