The Little Prince and friends – Good viewing figures ensure growing interest!

‘The Little Prince and friends’ is the preschool adaptation of the world-famous classic by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry and is convincing with consistently good viewing figures in the core target group!

The new animated series ‘The Little Prince and friends’ is the first to familiarise pre-school children with the content of the world-famous classic book by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. Together with the two pre-school children Charlotte and Elijah, they accompany the little prince, the fox and the rose on their exciting journeys through the universe. Themes and values such as a sense of responsibility, curiosity and the ability to marvel are conveyed in a child-friendly way.

‘The Little Prince and friends’ was first broadcast from 1 December 2024 and has been broadcast continuously on KiKA since April. The series is currently running on Sundays at 9:25 a.m. in double episodes until 14 September. A further broadcast is planned until 23 November. The corresponding VoD availability in the ARD-Mediathek and on KiKA’s digital platforms will therefore continue until at least the end of 2025!

The market shares of the individual broadcasts show promising interest in the core target group of 3 to 5-year-olds – and interest in collaborations is also growing, as the enchantingly detailed character illustrations and magical settings offer an ideal basis for designing creative products for children aged three and over.
