Shaun flies to the Moon with NASA

The first “astronaut” to fly to the moon on the Artemis I mission – was Shaun the Sheep !

Shaun’s journey with the Orion spacecraft included a flyby of the Moon, using the Moon’s gravity to drift 70,000 km behind the Moon and 500,000 km away from Earth . No man or sheep has ever traveled that far!

After nearly four weeks of flight, he returned to his flock and Mossy Bottom Farm.
With this journey, Shaun went down in history as the first sheep in space.
